何回も使用して放置された脱パラ系列を使って脱パラして免染してみました。アルツハイマー型認知症の海馬の切片をAβの抗体で染めてみましたが、陽性シグナルをほとんど検出することはできませんでした(写真下）。この切片は、Aβを染めるときに使用するポジコン用切片で、通常なら老人斑がたくさん検出できます（写真上）。古い、いつ液交換したかわからない脱パラ系列って怖いです。

I used xylene which has not been replaced for a while to remove paraffin wax and then tried immunohistochemistry for Aβ. The section which I chose is a positive control for Aβ and should have a lot of immunoreactivities, but Aβ accumulation was rarely seen this time.

Aβ depositon was immunostained with an anti-Aβ antibody (IBL 82E1).
