1月７日にキシレンの中に仕込んだ標本のカバーガラスが剥がれてきました。標本の端をピンセットでつまむとカバーガラスがスルンと剥がれ落ちます。切片に傷をつけないように慎重に一枚ずつはがしていきます。きれいなキシレンの中にカバーガラスをはがした標本をいれて、明日まで放置。明日になったら封入しようと思います。
A glass cover came off from the specimen placed after Jan 7th in the container filled with xylene. The glass cover came off easily when the end of the specimen pinched by a tweezer. I carefully removed the glass cover one by one and tried not to harm the specimen. I leave the specimens in the clean xylene and will coverslip them tomorrow.
