共同研究者から染色依頼があり、未染切片が到着しました。未染切片が到着すると、まずやることは切片のパラフィンコーティングです。コーティングにはガラス標本コーティング装置を使用しています。これで多少は抗原性の減弱を遅らせることができるのではないかと思います。
A package of unstained sections has arrived from one of our research collaborators to immunostain them. I usually cover sections with paraffin wax on the arrival of unstained sections. There is a device to cover sections with thin paraffin film in our lab. I expect that it may hider the deterioration of antigens.
