薄切したのちに表面をパラフィンでコーティングすることがあります。薄切してすぐに染色できない場合にこのような処理をします。コーティングされた切片を用いて染色する場合、脱パラフィンに時間がかかります。場合によって第１槽に１時間ぐらいつけておく必要があります。今日はコーティング済みの切片を脱パラしているのですが、なかなかパラフィンが溶けてくれません。切片表面からはがれ落ちたパラフィン屑が雪のようにキシレンの中に浮遊しています。

In some cases, it may be necessary to leave it in the first tank of deparaffinization for about an hour. I carried out deparaffinization with the coated section today, but the paraffin doesn't melt easily. Paraffin debris that has fallen off the surface of the section is floating in xylene like snow.
